Mission Statement: Ark Valley Helping Hands is a trusted partner in Chaffee County that supports older adults, so they can remain independent and in their own homes, as well as connected to their neighbors and our community.

Organization Info: Older adults who live alone, or even with a partner/spouse, need an engaging day-to-day to thrive rather than just survive. We aim to provide a human connection, peace of mind, and in turn, a better quality of life. We step in to combat loneliness, create a safer home environment and meet basic needs.

Our services are provided through vetted volunteers. 

In addition to growing our membership, we are seeking new volunteers. 

We are in the process of transitioning from a membership fee to a suggested donation, making financial support from the community incredibly timely and instrumental in furthering our mission.
