Mission Statement: The Moffat School senior class of 2023 is fundraising to go on a senior trip in May to the US Virgin Islands. As a tight-knit class of nine, we are like family to each other. Most of us have never left the state before, so this trip offers an amazing opportunity. We are all a little anxious to be leaving school and going into the world and would like one last hurrah before we are done with highschool. We wanted to work toward our own personal goals and have our trip be the fruit of our labors, so we sell concessions and raffles at every home game and run two bake sales weekly. We also have set up a GoFundMe account, but since we live in a high poverty, low income area, raising funds in our community can be challenging. We have all been working hard to make our goals a reality and have high hopes that our Senior Trip will be one to remember.

Moffat School's senior class of nine students, while small, is a big family. Many of the seniors have attended school together since early elementary, and those who were late to the party are still included and treated like brothers and sisters. The seniors of Moffat have made it through the era of Covid-19, incredibly high teacher and administrative turnover rates, and the general challenges of being teenagers together.
