Mission Statement: Building healthy community, through investing, for the support of a local, sustainable food future.

SOIL Sangre de Cristo is an all volunteer nonprofit supporting local food producers (farmers, ranchers and other entities) with 0% interest loans. Community members contribute to a revolving loan fund, creating the source for the loans. When the loans are repaid, the money goes back into the loan fund for another farm. The dollars stay in our community working over and over again. Overhead and administrative costs are less than 10% with the all volunteer organization. The goal is to continue raising money to award significant loans for major impact. All the contributions from "Moonlight Monday" will go directly into the revolving loan fund. One more bonus: all contributions, including from "Moonlight Monday" will be matched 50% by the Mighty Arrow Family Foundation. The next round of 0% interest loans opens on December 1, 2023 with awards voted on by SOIL Sangre de Cristo membership on Sunday, March 5th.
