At Moonlight Pizza & Brewpub, we’re all about building a strong, connected community—and that means taking care of every generation. Places to Age is tackling a critical need in Chaffee County by working to establish Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities, ensuring that older adults can remain in the community they love with dignity, care, and independence.

Who They Are

Places to Age is dedicated to creating a sustainable and compassionate living environment for older adults in Chaffee County. By providing affordable, high-quality homes with medical care services, they aim to give seniors the support they need to age in place—surrounded by their families, friends, and the town they call home.

Currently, many older adults must leave the area to access assisted living or memory care. Places to Age is working to change that by developing a local continuum of care facility, so seniors don’t have to relocate for the support they need.

What They’re Up To

Thanks to a generous donation of 10 acres of land, Places to Age is moving forward with the development of a state-of-the-art senior living facility. They are now:

Finalizing architectural designs for the community
Building partnerships with industry leaders to ensure top-tier care
Developing a long-term plan for sustainable operations

Their vision is simple: a community-driven space where aging is embraced, independence is respected, and no one has to leave Chaffee County just to find quality care.

Where the Moonlight Monday Funds Go

Funds raised during Places to Age’s Moonlight Monday will directly support the initial architectural design phase of this project. Specifically, donations will help complete the schematic design, a crucial first step in bringing this vision to life.

With this funding, Places to Age can move one step closer to providing much-needed housing and care services for older adults in Chaffee County.
