Mission Statement: KHEN is a volunteer-supported community radio station and media platform committed to uniting our community through programming, education and outreach.

In response to the pandemic, KHEN pivoted outside its normal events and introduced "Pack the Backpack" Youth Food Relief Program in Oct 2020. It has been quite successful with many other business and community sponsors, such as the Salida Community Center. Food is distributed to almost 40 students every Friday for 4 meals and snacks over the weekend.
