Moonlight Monday: Ark Aces
We are the US Women's Masters Raft Team who will be representing the U.S. and the Arkansas Valley in the 2020 World Rafting Championship in Ziyuan, China. We are raising funds to travel and compete for our own team and the younger women teams U19, and U23.
Moonlight Monday: The Tenderfoot Times
We are student operated newspaper at Salida High School, devoted to telling local stories and news and providing students' opinions. We publish frequently on our website and produce quarterly print issues.
Moonlight Monday: Chaffee County Search & Rescue (South)
Chaffee County SAR South provides search and rescue services for the southern portion of Chafee County and mutual aid throughout the state if requested. We are an all-volunteer team solely funded through grants and donations.
Moonlight Monday: Salida Montessori Charter School Secondary Class
Mission Statement: We are the secondary class at Salida Montessori Charter School. For our legacy project this year we are building a Pizza oven for future classes to have fundraisers selling pizza.
Moonlight Monday: Paws for LEOs
Paws for LEOs is about enhancing the lives of injured police officers and 1st responders with highly trained service dogs. Paws has watched many traumatic incidents occur within our community and realizing that it not only affects our police officers, 1st responders but our community as well. Paws believes that while we have service dogs-in-training that we can provide many services to our police officers, 1st responders and the community.
Moonlight Monday: Salida High School Music Department
We are raising money for the concert band and concert choir to go to a music festival at Disneyland! Proceeds will go to students travel expenses and tickets for the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Moonlight Monday: Ark Aces

Salida High School GSA is a Gender and Sexuality Alliance that is looking for ways to fund events that we want to plan for 2020! It is a great group of students who participate in weekly clubs and have learned to support one another within the school system!
Moonlight Monday: Collegiate Peaks Chapter of Trout Unlimited
Our vision is for current and future generations of the Upper Ark River Valley to enjoy, appreciate, and cherish our waters, and to carry on the mission of protecting the quality watershed for present and future generations.
