elevateHER
elevateHER is dedicated to fostering self-worth and grit in young women through mentoring, outdoor adventure, and holistic wellness programs. Based in Chaffee County, elevateHER offers free out-of-school time programs that empower girls to build confidence, resilience, and lifelong skills.
Who They Are
Serving over 100 youth annually, elevateHER provides more than 600 hours of positive youth development opportunities, all focused on outdoor recreation and adventure-based activities. Their programs aim to not only support the girls but also serve as a valuable resource for their caregivers. Whether they’re learning to ski, rock climb, or build community, these young women are gaining valuable life skills that go far beyond the classroom.
What They’re Up To
Through their empowerHER program, elevateHER provides weekly activities and experiences for girls in Chaffee County. The program is designed to inspire confidence and grit through outdoor adventures like skiing and climbing, while also supporting emotional wellness with mentoring and holistic practices.
elevateHER’s impact is best summed up by a parent who shared, “Every day (with elevateHER) was her favorite day. She came home proud of herself and happy to talk about her experiences. Learning to ski was a dream of hers, and it gave her something to celebrate.”
Where the Moonlight Monday Funds Go
Funds raised during their Moonlight Monday will go directly towards the food budget for the empowerHER program, providing free meals and snacks to the girls while they participate in the weekly activities. Feeding over 24 teenagers each week can get expensive, and Moonlight Pizza & Brewpub is proud to support elevateHER in this important effort.
What’s Next for elevateHER?
Looking ahead, elevateHER is gearing up for their annual fundraiser on November 9th at A-Church, featuring female storytellers and community gatherings. They continue to grow their programs and seek passionate individuals who want to share their skills with the young women they serve.
